Gregg McDougal is a trial lawyer who has a national practice with 30 years of experience representing clients in complex business litigation and catastrophic personal injury matters. He represents both Plaintiff and Defendants in all types of complex litigation, including litigation arising from merger and acquisitions, contract disputes, trade secret issues, insurance coverage issues for policyholders, fraud disputes, and catastrophic personal injury matters. Mr. McDougal often manages clients’ litigation with alternative fee arrangements. Mr. McDougal has served as lead counsel in numerous high profile cases, representing five-time Olympic medalist Marion Jones in a defamation suit; Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Tiger Woods; a well-known football coach after his termination from a large university; Duke University in matters arising out of allegations made against members of the Duke men’s lacrosse team; a Malaysian corporation in a breach of contract action against singer-songwriter and actor Kenny Rogers, and a notable, International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration matter in Japan. He has represented many well-known Fortune 500 Corporations and executives throughout the United States. In addition to his corporate representation, Mr. McDougal has extensive experience successfully representing clients in wrongful death suits and catastrophic personal injury matters.  Several of the catastrophic personal injury matters that Mr. McDougal has handled have received significant national media attention.
